Every once in a while, the staff at Carey Costuming comes across a
piece of fabric that they just can’t pass up, or a new idea that we
would like to see made a reality. This page is our way of offering our
customers these unusual items. Due to the nature of the creation, there is
a very limited quantity of any items on this page, and perhaps only one.
(If there is only one, that will be stated under the item.) So, unlike the
rest of the clothing we offer, these items will be sold on a first-come,
first-serve basis.

Tired of playing the peasant? Move up the social ladder! This elegant tabard-style
overlay denotes a man or woman of wealth. Perfect for a merchant or noble, this
linen-blend fabric and tapestry creation will give your current attire a whole new look.
We
suggest belting it over pants and a full shirt, or draping and belting it over a
lady’s chemise. For a more opulent look, match the gold border of the collar with a
gold belt and jewelry.
This tabard is available only in a dark green linen/cotton blend, with
tan and green tapestry and a gold border. The tabard is 27 inches across
the shoulders and 47 inches long. Dry clean only.
